Prostaglandin: Some women produce too much prostaglandin hormone just prior to and during their cycle. If you're not sensitive to Aspirin products, or one of its cousins, these will generally help a lot. I recommend 2 Aleve (naproxen) 2 times a day starting the week before your cycle is due. This frequently prevents many of these symptoms. Healthy eating especially a diet for hypoglycemia is also helpful.
