Swollen glands...: A globes is that feeling of having something obstructing you esophagus or airway. But there is nothing physically there. The other symptoms ou describe could mean your submandibular glands are swollen. It could be allergies, cat scratch fever, or even blocked salivary glands. Go to a dentist and see if the answer can b e found.

Immediate attention: This sounds like it could possibly be an infection in the sublingual space. It could be caused by an untreated infected tooth, an infected or blocked salivary gland duct. Or something totally different. You should see an oral maxillofacial surgeon or er physician to treat right away.
