Does the tetanis shot causes bursitis?

NO: A tetanus immunizaiton should at most cause some local pain and swelling. Bursitis is not a known complicaiton of this common immunizatiion. If you have a bursitis, see your pcp or orthopedist and get it checke out if heat or ice and rest are not helping.

Shot in muscle: Tetanus shot goes into muscle, not bursa (fluid filled sac around joint). Can cause sore arm, not bursitis.
