Careful monitoring: Any skin break (a cut or a needle/scalpel from a healthcare worker) risks infection, even if the area is cleaned & disinfected first because deep hair follicles have bacteria & we may not eradicate all. Any medication/ fillers can cause allergic reactions resembling infection. Some infections are more serious.Cellulitis: antibiotics/warm packs. Abscess: drainage. Allergy: antihistamines/steroids.
