Fatigue: Usually simple fatigue can cause your eyelid to droop. It can also happen with a condition called myasthenia gravis, but that is a rare condition. Permanent drooping can be from nerve disorders of several varieties and should always be evaluated.

Lid droop: Intermittent lid drop/droop can be due to a few issues. We check to be sure your pupil is normal. If normal and your eye ball is working normall (straight and not deviated). We ask if you ever had a history of crossed eyes. We ask if you have any new difficulty swallowing. Ptosis and other eye lid anomalies can be evaluated by an eyemd.
