A member asked:

Is it possible that i have peripheral heart disease(leg pain when resting) without claudication?

PVD: Peripheral vascular disease is related to the systemic circulation and technically isn't 'heart disease'. It is vascular disease albeit the heart is an essential part of the vascular system. Claudication is a symptom produced when the vascular disease is severe enough to cause it. Many people have pvd, they don't all have claudication.

Its unlikely: I think you are talking about peripheral vasc. Or arterial disease, and you usually have the symptom of claudication first.
