Symptoms of HIV: Frequent urination may very well be a sign of a common sexually transmitted disease. But, it is not a symptom of early HIV infection. Now, if your sexual activity is deemed to have been high risk then appropriate testing for both syphilis and HIV may be added to the visit. But, with your symptoms testing for gonorrhea and/or chlamydia is wise.
