Accutane: Accutane, in the U.S. Or roaccutane internationally is a potent drug for acne. Usual effects are dryness of lips, skin, eyes and skin generally as well as many other less common effects--some can be severe. Lab tests are done to check other side effects/complications. Most of these symptoms are gone within one month of stopping the drug.
