Sore thighs: This is a nonspecific symptom. It could be due to some muscular reaction to strain from work, overuse or exercise. In females it can be from congestion in pelvic organs. Primary inflammation of muscles(acute myositis) is uncommon. Polymyalgia rheumatica is a rather common cause. People on statin medication may have a side effect of muscle ache. Your MD can evaluate you if symptoms persist.
