legs look bruised and purple after showering. what could be the reason?

Leg discoloration: Assuming you didn't fall in the shower, it could possibly be a skin reaction such as a contact dermatitis. I would suggest evaluation by a dermatologist. Many things could cause leg discoloration and may have nothing to do with being in the shower.
