Oddly yes: For certain women birth control can help conceive. For women with endometriosis, birth control can suppress the endometriosis to sometimes make it easier to become pregnant in the future. And for some fertility treatments, even ivf, birth control may be used right before treatment to help you respond better by allowing your eggs to grow together.

Not while taking: Contraceptive pills will not help one get pregnant while being taken. It may be taken for other indications (e.g. Painful menses, heavy bleeding). It's true that contraceptive pills may be part of certain ivf protocols to help improve ovarian recruitment/stimulation, but taken alone will unlikely improve chance of conceiving. In fact, it may unnecessarily delay proper evaluation and treatment.
