?germs in dandruff?: Many infants have a buildup of dead skin flakes on the scalp that persists beacuse normal baby shampoos don't have the enzyme action of adult products.Also, many moms are reluctant to scrub the scalp or touch the soft spot. A simple wash with a dandruf shampoo will often cut the odors, but sometimes needs to be done for sevreal days to be effective.Ck with your dr if simple measures don't fix it.

Scalp: Baby's scalp has lots of glands which produce sebum like material. Most of time the condition resolves only by simple cleaning and application of various creams. Head & shoulder can help. You need to rule out any fungal infection there. Get your baby checked by a pediatrician.
