Driving you buggy: Just because you did the right things (changed all bed linens, washed linens in hot water, fumigated the house, cleaned all your clothes, cleaned your carpet) doesnt mean you cannot bring these critters home again or if you live in an multiunit facility someone else is donating them to you. Start again from scratch. Report to landlord, use care traveling/staying outside your home/guests gifts.

Cimex lectularius : Agree w dr. Mullane. The bed bug is a parasite that is nocturnal. It can be transported on your clothing, luggage, second hand furniture etc. You can even get it using public transportation. It can go up to a year without feeding, so that allows it to just sit and wait until it catches a ride on something or someone. If you live in an apartment complex it may move from one unit to another. It is.
