Hives and Eczema: Eczema is an allergic skin condition where there is a barrier dysfunction. Tends to be exacerbated by foods and allergens and has a characteristic distribution pattern. Hives are red, raised and intensely itchy lesions (mosquito-bite like) that can occur on any part of the body and can have multiple triggers.
