Possibly: It depends what the injury is due to. It's possible you have a ruptured blood vessel/bruise on the eye which can take several weeks to resolve. But depending on the injury, it could be something more serious, especially if it is taking this long to heal. Artificial tears may help if the eye is uncomfortable, but it may be wise to have an ophthalmologist look at your eye.

Artificial tears!: You can try artificial tears. It would be a good idea to have the eye examined and make sure there is no damage or uveitis that can cause permanent scarring inside the eye.

Recommendation to see dr.: I would recommend that you follow up with the ophthalmologist. We don't want to miss a serious eye conditions Otc eye meds are usually for mild conditions like allergies or dryness of eyes. Hope you feel better!
