No: But need to treat infection with antibiotics if not already done so! exercise only as tolerated during infection since infection limits exercise capacity depending on its severity.

Kidney infection: Kidney infection (pyelonephritis) generally causes fever, chills and very significant flank pain. One generally feels "sick". Bladder infection (cystitis) rarely causes systemic symptoms. Discomfort in the pelvic area and irritative voiding symptoms are typical. If you feel like running, i seriously doubt that you have a "kidney" infection. Shouldn't cause a problem with a bladder infection.
