No: A big head leaves room for a big brain. There is nothing to do about it if the doctor is not concerned so don't worry about it. Sometimes it just takes time for the rest of the body to catch up.

Head Size in Baby: The normal range for a toddler 6-12 months is 41-48 cm. As long as he is hitting his developmental milestones i wouldn't give it a second thought. On the other hand, if he lags in motor and cognitive development down the line, you would be following up with your pediatrician anyway, so the best course of action is to enjoy your baby's first year and keep a vigilant mother's eye on his development.
