I have a blood filled ovarian cyst and iv just missed a period. what could be rong, could the cyst be getting worse?

Possibly: I assume you were told about the cyst after having an ultrasound or ct scan. The most common cause of a missed period in a female of childbearing age is pregnancy. You should probably take a pregnancy test first. If that is negative you can move on to a thorough work-up with the gynecologist who ordered the imaging study. Be well.
