Yes: Try another two weeks, get tested for helycobacter pylori. I assume you had gastroscopic procedure.

GERD: Gerd is a chronic problem. Omeprazole generally has to be taken long term. Sometimes other medicines also. A gastroenterologist should be able to help you.
