Worsening vision: There are mutlipple reasons for blurry vision and an eye exam is needed to answer this question. It could be simply the need for glasses. Cataracts, macular degeneration and glaucoma are the most common medical causes. Please go see your eye M.D.

Declining vision: If your declining of vision is with near vision and began after 40 years old, this is called presbyopia where your eye is aging and losing accommodation ability for up close vision. You can try an over the counter reading glasses, strength +1.25 or +1.50. Bring reading material w you to and try on the readers until you find the best power for you.
