What causes snowy vision and what makes it worse?

Brain dysfunction: snowy vision is caused by brain dysfunction in the right lingual gyrus. It is seen in patients with persistent migraine aura. It can also be seen with optic neuritis caused by MS. Often no obvious cause is identified.
