Multifactorial: Allergies and the symptoms are best treated by a muti-pronged approach. Avoid triggers, cont. The nasal sprays, antihistamines can help. Singulair (montelukast) works on a differentpathway and may add beneficail effects. If severe, get alergy tested and see exactly what yu are allergic to, then tailor your treatment based on results.

Vasomotor rhinitis: By definition, vasomotor rhinitis is not allergies and not infectious. It is related to irritants and not easily treated. Nasal steroid sprays and antihistamine nasal sprays (astepro) are approved for treatment but even with these complete relief is unusual. Avoiding the triggers is helpful but can be impractical. Pollen has nothing to do with vasomotor rhinitis and antihistamines don't work.
