Ibuprofen/heat: Ovarian cysts are common. Ovaries make cysts for a living. They go away on their own (usually unless larger then 6 cm then your doctor should watch the resolution). Period pains can be relieved by nsaids (motrin/ibuprofen/naproxyn/pamprin etc) and heat (heating pad, gelpacks, thermowraps). If you have a known cyst make sure you listen to your doctor's recommendations.
