Ped-Neuro Eval: You should take your child to a pediatric neurologist. They are not common in the community, so you might need to travel to a university medical school to find one. I would call well in advance to get an appointment, find out if you need a referral, and if your insurance company covers this evaluation.Even if they do not, i would fight to get it covered, it's your child's health. You need answers.

Funding & Services: Apply for SSI for her through your local social security office. At the same time, apply for the katie beckett program, in case SSI rejects her because of your income. Call the texas department of mental health & mental retardation, http://dir.Yahoo.Com/regional/u_s__states/texas/government/executive_branch/departments_and_agencies/texas_department_of_mental_health_and_mental_retardation/.

Need to re evaluate: When a child is taking "a ton" of medications, there is a possibility that she is on too much medication and there may be drug interactions. I suggest reviewing her condition with her doctors or even consider a second opinion.
