Dysmenorrhea..: If this has always been so, you have primary dysmenorrhea/menstrual cramps, which is common and can be quite severe for some. If it is cyclical and not getting worse, you should be ok. Nevertheless, there are medications such as motrin/aleve to reduce pain. In more severe cases, birth control medications can be of great help. Please check with your doc...There're many good treatments. Good luck.
