One at a time: Cholestoff® contains plant sterols that block the uptake of cholesterol from your diet. Atorvastating reduces the production of cholesterol by your liver. Both can be helpful, but both can be overridden by a poor diet. First eliminate all trans fats and hydrogenated vegetable oils from your diet. Increase your intake of fresh fruit and vegetables and add plant sterol enriched margarine spreads.

Cholesterol: If you're starting Atorvastatin would be a good idea to just use that medication. If you need additional medication or dasage after testing, discuss with your doctor. When you're taking multiple agents, which causes what is always a problem.
