Yes and no: The commonly used and the recommended drugs for treatment of UTI are Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) or ciprofloxacin/lavaquin class of drugs. Cephalosporins(including cefaclor) are not first class drugs for UTI and hence not commonly used.
