Get examined soon: A white coating can have multiple diagnoses. Worst case scenario--cancer. So get examined by a dentist or physician soon. Do you smoke? Are you on multiple medications.? What is the longevity of the problem? What is your diet?

Multiple causes: Your symptoms can be caused by many things: medications and infection (bacterial and/or fungal) are the obvious ones. You should have your doctor evaluate your condition asap. Any time you have an "oddity" that lasts more than 3 days, or recurs more than 3 times, you should seek a doctor's consult.
