Depends : There are many causes for unsatisfactory eye muscle surgery. My usual suggestion for someone who has had two failures at one clinic is to get a second opinion to be sure there is nothing overlooked.

More surgery: Depending on the size of the esotropia he may need more surgery. Unfortunately strabismus surgery is not always 100 % successful.
