Not much: "normal" range goes up to about 10 500 in most labs. Unless there is more to the story i wouldn't be excited about this value.

If you're speaking..: Of total WBC count, this value is within a normal range. But, there is more to interpreting a WBC count than simply the number of cells. The various types (aka, the differential), the number of other formed elements and the clinical circumstances are also essential to ascertain the significance of any particular WBC count. If you have a more specific question, please just ask.
