Migraine: It is reassuring that ct scan showed no changes. I am sorry to hear your sisters symptoms have returned. Usually, pulsating headaches that recur, either in one or the other side of the head, with nausea, and light or sound sensitivity, are due to migraine. If your sister is not usually a headache person, and if this is a new type of headache, you might consider being re evaluated with mri.
