No.: You may take extra strength tylenol (1000mg acetaminophen), 800mg ibuprofen, or on rare occasion both--but do not exceed 800mg Ibuprofen at a time / 2400mg in a day. You can also try putting a cold compress against your head / back of your neck. If discomfort persists, follow up with your neurologist / dr.

Depends: When motrin came to the market, it was as 899 mg tablets. The dose is ok but needs to be monitored by your physician.
