Viral conjunctivitis: Most eye infections in kids are viral. Viral infection on the inner part of the eyelid and thin moist "skin"covering the eyeball-called the conjunctiva is called "conjunctivitis." frequent hand washing helps prevent this, but even simple colds can spread to the eyes. Handbwashing is essential as you can catch this infection. Antibiotics don't work. (erythromycin). Just time 7-14 days.
