White on Nails: Leukonychia (or leuconychia), also known as white nails or milk spots, is a medical term for white discoloration appearing on nails and not due to calcium buildup.It is harmless and is thought to be caused by minor injuries that occur while the nail is growing. There are some suggestions but controversial that vitamins may help such as zinc.

No such thing: No such thing as calcium buildup in toenails. It's more likely white superficial onychomycosis.
