Which blood pressure medicine is better benicar (olmesartan) or losartan?

Depends: Losartan really is a twice a day medication for blood pressure and if dosed twice a day is equivalent to benicar (olmesartan). Since losartan is now generic the cost considerations frequently favor the use of losartan. If dosing only daily i would choose benicar (olmesartan).

Why bother with ARBs: They're both expensive. Can you not take an ace-inhibitor? They're better proven in evidence based studies, and Lisinopril is $4/month at walmart and a bunch of other places. That said, they're pretty comparable as BP meds.
