Why is it hard to find albendezole?

Antihelminthic: Its an uncommon treatment for parasites but should be readily obtainable or easily ordered by your pharmacy.

FDA?: We have had all manner of drug shortages of both name brand but particularly of generic medications in the last 2 years. The fda is at fault per the pharmacists I have talked to, it seems they have been inspecting manufacturing facilities and reviewing medications for "safety" issues and that has put some on the shortage list. I don't personally know that to be fact however.
