What's a goose egg?: I love how people describe things!, so my guess is that you're "goose egg" is likely a collection of old blood from a blow/injury to skin which lies just above a bone. The "goose eye" is defined by the underlying tissue and how it encapsulated the blood. Location is rarely important. Either "tincture of time"... Alot of time... Or drainage with a needle or small incision is necessary.
