No: At two months, your baby should be smiling in response to your smiling, singing, talking, bouncing and other attempts at interaction. She will probably be able to make the "aah & ooh" sounds, as well. However, some two-month-olds may not be quite ready for prime time. I recommend that you keep your 2-month appointment this week and discuss her development with your pediatrician.

Yes: In most term babies, your baby should be cooing or making some very simple sounds. Your baby should also be able to make eye contact and track your with her eyes when you move back and forth. If your baby was a premature infant, it may take your baby a bit longer to achieve those normal milestones. Autism is not diagnosed at 2 months of age, but share any concerns you may have with your doctor.

Maybe but....: Certainly possible. But make sure her hearing is normal. Also this could be a normal varient. Consult with your pediatrician.
