Postop referred pain: Your orthopedic surgeon is the best one to inquire about your pain. I assume this was arthroscopically done; and even though you don't have a large scar, the structures inside and around the knee may have been disturbed and still need time to heal. If no infection is evident then continue your postop rehabilitation with gradual progression of activity until followup appointment.

Call your doctor: Calf pain after knee surgery could indicate an injury to a nerve or a complication like a blood clot from the tourniquet used during surgery. Any time you have problems or concerns after surgery, call your surgeon. He/she always wants to be kept informed so they have the ability to offer treatment promptly.
