What are the long term effects of deviated septum surgery?

Long term breathing: Fixing a deviated septum should only have long term good effects. It should be nice to take good deep breaths through the nose. I should be exteremely rare to have a long term bad effect.

Just make sure that when referring to deviated septum surgery you are referring to an operation that straightens the septum, not a "nose job" that changes how your nose looks.
