A few causes are: primary dysmenorrhea(painful periods) can often be treated with birth control pills. Endometriosis can be treated with numerous drugs including hormones or a drug called luron. Adenomyosis usually treated with hysterectomy fibroids can be treated with removal, lupron, (leuprolide) or hysterectomyy.
