You can be.: Even if the test is negative, a lack of a period is pregnancy until proven otherwise. Now you may have your period soon, and so you will not be pregnant, if you have it and a negative test. However, if you don't have it, you should repeat your test in one week, and if still negative, or even if positive, see your doctor for a full exam and a repeat test. Good luck.
