Meds & pregnancy: The bcp's is one thing; mood disorder meds is another. A joint discussion of the risks and benefits between you, your OB doctor, and your psychiatrist is in order. Depending on type and severity of mood disorder, it is sometimes safer for both mom & infant to stay on medications during pregnancy. Sometimes medications can be changed or tapered, also. Case-by-case consideration needed.

Pregnant moods : As quickly as possible contact your psychiatrist as some meds should not be talen especially during first trimester and depends which meds your are on some can be stopped right away some need to be gradully tapered to avoid side effects pl consult with your doc right away and all the best for a healthy pregnancy.
