Need more info!: How long has it been there? Has it grown? Since it is raised (the tongue can feel it), it should immediately be looked at by a dentist to make sure it is not something that needs to be removed.

Unsure: A raised red spot in the back of your mouth could be one of many different things, depending on what caused it and how long it has been there. Just because it does not hurt does not mean it should be ignored. Your best bet is to have it checked and possibly removed and sent to a pathologist to be sure what it is.
