Would having a family history of heart attack put you more at risk than other people?

Heart attack: Family history is one of the risk factors for atherosclerosis and for heart attack. If heart attack 'runs' in your family then you are prudent to be very careful not to smoke and to diet, exercise and take care of all those risk factors that you can improve. You're stuck with your family history.
