Slow stomach: Gastroparesis refers to delayed stomach emptying and is frequently present in people with diabetes. There are some cases where this can result from an autoimmune reaction to a viral infection. You can not catch or spread gastroparesis, but you can spread gastroenteritis commonly known as the stomach flu, usually through food or poor hygiene.
