Are thrombolytic drugs really an appropriate solution to heart attacks?

Thrombolysis: Thrombolytic drugs are an effective treatment for heart attack. Presently if available we try to get a patient into an interventional lab if we can within 90minutes of chest pain presentation. When that isn't possible we use thrombolytics along with other meds as the next best step; these are also effective treatment and well documented. A solution is something different...That's prevention.
