A member asked:

How long does a hand fracture take to heal after intitial treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Depends on many factors how bad is the fracture and how good is the vitamin d level and of course all smokers heal slower all fractures take about 2 years to go on to full healing and remodeling but most should be pretty darn solid by 10-12 weeks with hands stiffness is a major issue post injury so early gentle range of motion is important.
