Congenital: Camptodactyly and clinodactyly are two types of bent finger deformities that occur during development in the womb. Treatment is rarely indicated. Most cases of camptodactyly are sporadic in occurrence. However, camptodactyly can be inherited. There is usually no improvement or progression of the deformity in 80% of individuals.
