A member asked:

What causes my fingers to swell when hot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vasodilation: Any time the ambient temperature causes an increase in body temp, blood vessels widen in an attempt to dissipate heat. As your fingers are peripheral and when at rest subject to gravitational pooling of blood and fluids, you will get finger swelling.
